Policy Statement
Safety Cooperation Services LLC (SCS) is committed to deliver the training courses to the nominated candidates as per their clients' required standards and to conduct a fair assessment during or at the end of the training courses. Assessment decision may be either “Competent (C)” or “Not yet competent (NYC)” depending on the candidate’s performance during the whole assessment process.
However, the "NYC" candidates shall be given maximum one opportunity for success without paying any further fee at least after one month of the original assessment or as agreed by the Assessor. The purpose of giving an additional opportunity is to create a positive and supportive environment for the candidates to improve their knowledge and skills and to achieve the qualification.
Reassessment Process
- The candidate whose assessment decision is "Not yet competent" shall be given a written assessment feedback by the SCS Assessor.
- SCS Assessor shall inform the candidate about the areas for improvement.
- The candidate shall be given minimum one-month time to be prepared for reassessment. The candidate shall be allowed to ask for more time to be prepared.
- SCS shall not conduct the reassessment if the candidate requests for reassessment in less than one-month time after original assessment unless it is agreed by the Assessor.
- The candidate or his employer must nominate the "NYC" candidate by filling the SCS Nomination Form and send it to SCS Course Booking Coordinator through e-mail.
- SCS booking Coordinator shall schedule the reassessment request and send a confirmation letter to the candidate or Nominator.
- Safety Cooperation Services LLC shall conduct the reassessment on the scheduled date and time in presence of Assessment Manager.
- Result shall be revealed based on the candidate performance during the reassessment process.
- Once the candidate achieves expected scores as a result of the assessment (Both written and oral), he/she will be passed and shall be marked as “Competent” otherwise he/she will be again marked as “Not yet competent”.
- To complete the training course, the “NYC” candidate will need to be registered again for full course with full training fee.
This policy shall be implemented throughout SCS center or its branch and shall be reviewed annually.
